DONATION PARTNERS

Simul8
Glasgow-based technology company Simul8 has assisted Shout in maximising its resources under tight budgetary constraints. Simul8 offered its specialist process simulation services on a pro-bono basis, including software and consultancy, to help Shout increase its services and reach more vulnerable young women. The objectives of the project included:
- To increase access to HIV Testing Services
- To increase the use of PrEP (the HIV prevention pill)
- To provide more support to those experiencing gender-based violence
We knew that any increase in service capacity offered the chance to change a person’s life forever. An initial target was set for a 15 percent uplift in the number of people that staff could see through process improvements.
Shout has not only been able to increase the number of people that it can see each day, it has been able to reduce waiting times, maximise the time that its team are able to spend one-on-one with clients, and improve working conditions for staff.
IMPLEMENTATION PARTNERS

Shout-It-Now and Community Media Trust, also known as Siyayinqoba, are committed to working together to help build healthy people and healthy communities. Currently, Shout and CMT are partnering to implement a DREAMS-funded project to provide a comprehensive package of prevention services, including life skills programs implemented by CMT and health services implemented by Shout. These activities are particularly focused on adolescent girls and young women aged 15 – 24 years old, but services are provided to all ages and genders, as we want to ensure all people can benefit from the full package of prevention services that we collectively offer.
