Adrian van Stolk – Chief Executive Officer

A highly experienced CEO with an entrepreneurial background, Adrian has a proven track record of building strong, cohesive and aligned teams and successful businesses. He places great value on the importance of mentorship in enabling teams and individuals to meet organizational goals while achieving personal growth. A complex problem solver, he is highly aware of the importance of people management while simultaneously developing robust systems and processes. Adrian has served as Chairman of the Board for St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, an intermediate hospital for ill indigent children, for the past 3 years, though he has a 14 year relationship with the institution, which is aligned to his strong commitment to giving back to local communities.

John Barton-Bridges – Chief Financial Officer

John has more than 30 years’ international experience with extensive expertise in the areas of finance, management, strategy, and corporate governance. John has been employed in various types of companies, mostly for-profit companies in the private sector, including a global development finance institution, a large multi-national corporation, small private companies and a family office in Africa. He has acquired his experience while working in developed markets (United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, USA, South Korea), as well as in emerging markets (Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, Asia, Middle East). John holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, and is a member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa. He is committed to assisting fellow Africans to thrive and prosper and to reach our full potential.

William Taylor – Head of Operations

William Taylor joined Shout-It- Now in 2011 as IT & Operations Manager. He is an expert in tech support and design for biometrics services for tracking of clients, counselling using online systems, and audio recordings of client sessions for audit purposes. Having spent over 25 years in the IT field, he has served as IT Manager and Senior Technical Manager for a number of companies, and has extensive experience in managing development and support teams.

Takudzwa Mabande – Head of IT

Takudzwa Mabande is the Software Manager at Shout-It-Now. He implements and maintains customised software applications that are used in the organisations operations, resulting in a highly efficient organization. He oversees a team of staff that maintain Shout-It-Now’s IT infrastructure, and is responsible for data extraction and report generation.

Josias Fouche – Head of Measurement & Evaluation

Sias has more than 20 years of experience as an Information Management specialist with a focus on systems development and maintenance, information management strategy, data analytics, and continuous improvement. Prior to joining Shout-It-Now, he spent most of his career in the manufacturing industry in various information management roles, most recently leading a team responsible for process automation systems for an international steel manufacturer. Sias holds BSc. and BSc. (Hons.) degrees in information management, as well as an MBA degree from the University of Stellenbosch. He sees himself as a life-long learner with a passion for leadership, change management and data analytics.

Cristianne Wendler – Behavioural Interventions Programme Manager

Cristianne has over 20 years of development experience, with an emphasis on health, particularly HIV/AIDS. For the last seven years, she's served in PEPFAR as the Community Grants Country Director in South Africa. Prior to that, she's worked on projects in other parts of Southern Africa, Southeast Asia and North America. Her development experience spans from the front lines as a humanitarian relief worker in Haiti, a public health educator in a Burmese refugee camp, to an HIV and AIDS curriculum developer in the US to a founding director for an NGO in South Africa. She has spent time in roles ranging from direct service delivery, program development and project evaluation through to roles in management, on boards and as a trustee. She has a Master’s degree in Public Health, Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Political Science, a Bachelor’s certificate in African Studies and a professional qualification in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.

Vanona Slingers – Head of Human Resources

Vanona Slingers is an HR professional with more than 20 years’ experience. After completing her BCOM (HR) at the University of the Western Cape, she joined the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and later worked for companies such as Statistics SA, Department of Trade and Industry, Standard Bank and FUEL Online. During her 13 year stay at Standard Bank, she moved into a Performance Coach role and travelled throughout South Africa, Uganda and Malawi to coach at an executive level, as well as various other levels, throughout the bank. Prior to joining Shout-It-Now, she was a People Business Partner at Fuel Online. Vanona is a single mom to an 11-year-old daughter and is currently studying part-time for her ND: ODETDP.

Stephen Stafford - Head of Partnerships

For more than 25 years, Stephen has led prevention programs, social marketing campaigns and continuing medical education initiatives focused on improving HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment in the US and South Africa. Stephen has served as a health care aide to a US Congressman, directed the continuing medical education department of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association, led the communications and special projects departments of the Adolescent AIDS Program at Montefiore Medical Center, and since 2007 has worked in South Africa leading HIV/AIDS projects that promote the prevention of mother to child infection of HIV, routine HIV testing among adolescents and young adults in clinic and community settings, retention in care for newly diagnosed HIV+ patients, behavioral interventions aimed at preventing HIV infection among youth, and most recently in scaling up PrEP and SRH services for adolescent girls and young women.

Tahirih Michot - Special Projects

Tahirih is a process designer with over 20 years of experience in process facilitation, design thinking and business development. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and has been running her own boutique consultancy for the past 10 years. Her work has focused on supporting change, team engagement, leadership development and innovation in the private and public sectors as well as civil society. Her personal ambition is to make a meaningful contribution to the creation of dynamic and socially responsive work environments where individuals and the collective can thrive.
