Shout-It-Now was founded to help address the impact of HIV/AIDS among young South Africans. Initially focused on HIV testing services for learners within schools.
Moved to community-based HIV testing delivered
through mobile clinics.
Added primary health screening, point-of care CD4 testing and voluntary medical male circumcision mobilization.
Moved to semi-automated HIV testing with ‘ATM’-like efficiency & on-site immediate antiretroviral therapy (iART) initiation.
Appointed as a CDC/PEPFAR prime prevention partner to provide services in Ekurhuleni, Tshwane and Bojanala Districts. Expanded services to include PrEP, gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health, and life-skills programming. Updated mobile clinics to cater for additional services and to generate demand among our youth clients.
Increased geographic coverage to include Dr Kenneth Kaunda and Ngaka Modiri Molema Districts. We’re continuing to provide clients with the tools and information they need to make informed choices and offering safe and dignified access to healthcare services within their own communities.
We are constantly innovating and exploring new ways to tackle complex health problems. We will leverage our success providing friendly services at the community level to broaden our reach and provide essential health services for the communities we support.
