400,000 Served! Shout-it-Now Reaches Monumental HIV Testing Milestone.

Cape Town, South Africa (5 October 2015) – In September Shout-it-Now provided its 400,000th client with their HIV testing status. Using an engaging blend of technology, marketing and compassion, Shout-it-Now has provided its innovative mobile HIV testing service in schools, prisons and numerous community venues in Gauteng, Limpopo, North West and Western Cape provinces.

The young woman who helped Shout-it-Now reach the 400,000 test milestone is 35 year old Malefu, who lives in Kwanele in Ekurhuleni. This was Malefu’s second time testing with Shout-it-Now. “You know, there are times when we all can make a mistake with a partner,” she told us. “When that happens, I know it is better to learn your status as soon as possible. So when I saw the tents as I was making my way to work I thought, ‘Shout-it-Now has a great service. Let me go quickly now and learn my status because I don’t have time to go to the clinic.’ I’m glad I did. It was a relief to hear I am still negative!”

Shout-it-Now’s other clients agree that the service is superior to many other HIV testing providers. Recently the organization conducted a client satisfaction survey and found that clients overwhelmingly enjoyed the technology, video-based education and the personalized counseling they received from Shout-it-Now, with more than 96% of clients stating they would recommend Shout-it-Now to a friend. In 2016 Shout-it-Now will be adding three new teams in order to expand services to new areas of Ekurhuleni North, South and East.
